Returns
Under The Consumer Contract Regulations 2014 you have a right to cancel your order in writing (except for bespoke, or made to order products such as Advan-Tex, Cielo, Softech and Softech Light) fourteen working days beginning with the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. All return shipping costs in this instance will be the responsibility of the consumer and we would recommend a recorded method of return. Goods lost in transit on their return is the responsibility of the consumer and no refund will be given in such an instance if we fail to receive the item, back.

Details for returns are detailed on the Right To Cancel form included with every cover where required. Alternatively you can email us at info@coveryourcar.co.uk for further information.

Payment
We accept all major credit and debit cards and Paypal. You must ensure that all details given for payment are correct including the full Card Statement Address. Your card will show a payment to 1st Portal Network Limited via Secpay or Worldpay Secure Card Services or by PAYPAL.

Payment must be made BEFORE dispatch. Funds must have cleared if paying via PAYPAL e-cheque.

Delivery
The normal delivery time is within 2 - 3 working days within the UK and up to 10 days rest of the world. Delivery on bespoke one off individually made CIELO, SOFTECH or ADVAN-TEX or GUANTO covers is 3 to 4 weeks from time of ordering, unless it has been Fast Tracked using our Priority Production Service. (This production time can extend during busy periods). If no one is at the delivery address then a card will be left by the courier. Please made every effort to contact either the courier or us if you are unable to accept the goods. Re delivery will be attempted but should the cover come back to us because of failure to collect or accept then customers are liable for a £6 re-delivery fee in all cases.

Force Majeure
The Company will not be liable for damage, loss or failure of the product if it is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity, internet or telephone service. under any circumstances. If a cover is used outdoors on an "open top" with no roof vehicle, this is done at the owners risk and no liability will rest with us for damage caused in such an instance.

Shortages & Errors
It is your responsibility to contact us regarding any shortages or packing errors within 7 days of receipt of goods. You must check all items are exactly as ordered upon receipt. Covers are fitted at owners risk. We will not be held responsible for any damage caused by incorrect fitting of a cover. The cover should not be used in this instance in the interim. Use of the cover will be deemed as acceptance of the goods and therefore not qualify for refund.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet estimated delivery date.

In the event of an item being unavailable we will contact you to discuss the options. If you do not wish to proceed with the offered alternatives then your order can be cancelled.

Our products are guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship. All products have a 1 or 2 year warranty. Warranties are covered by the Original Manufacturers Guarantee. This is in addition to the consumerís statutory rights.

Faulty Goods
In the event of a fault being suspected please contact us as soon as possible or receipt to determine the best solution. Some items may need to be submitted for factory inspection for fault analysis before replacement or refund can take place. Whilst we aim to keep this process to as short a time scale as possible we cannot guarantee any time period for factory inspections. Normal turnaround time is 4 to 5 days.

Incorrect Goods
It is the Consumers responsibility to inform us of incorrect supply within 2 days. The goods must be in a condition which has not devalued the value of the product or damaged. We will need information (part numbers, etc) regarding the incorrect items. Should there be extenuating circumstances that prevent informing us within the stated time frame, resolution shall be by mutual decision.

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt and have a refund for any cancelled items provided that you return the goods to us in a condition which has not devalued the value of the product. The goods to be returned must be in a condition which does not diminish the value of the product. The cost of return carriage is payable by you unless a swap over has been arranged where we will pay. We suggest strongly that you return the goods via a traceable method (Post Office Recorded Delivery or Carrier), as we cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred in transit back to us. We will not be held liable for any mistakes made by you, the customer when ordering online.
The effective date of cancellation for the purposes of the Consumer Contract Regulations is the date on which the notice is sent. The Regulations require the consumer to send a notice of cancellation in writing or via phone or email. The effective date of cancellation is the date on which the notice is received. This allows the full cancellation period.

Exceptions to the right to cancel

Bespoke, or individually made to measure covers which are Cielo, Softech, Advan-tex,Guanto and some Special order Stormforce covers are non refundable once production has commenced and can not be returned for refund. Please note that shades of cover colours may vary from those shown via different computer monitors. If exact shade of colour is important then please ensure you request samples before ordering as we will not be held responsible after purchase should the shade not meet your requirements.

As a responsible seller, if we believe that a transaction is fraudulent, we reserve the right to delay or cancel any shipment at any point to protect the cardholder.

Refunds will be processed back in the same payment format as the original purchase payment.

Refunds to Credit/Debit card accounts will take several days to clear. We will endeavour to pass the refund within 7 working days but reserve the right to refund up to 14 days of the return depending on the condition of the returned item.

Items delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to Import Duties and Taxes levied on entry to the Country requested. We have no knowledge or control over these charges. It is your responsibility to establish the charges applicable with the Customs Authorities concerned and any charges must be borne by you.
